Such a privilege to support this Awesome First Time Mama last week as she laboured at #home, and then continue our care alongside our lovely colleagues at Royal Surrey as she welcomed her Gorgeous little boy into her arms 💙. Continuity of care works, and as a team, we do all we can to be able to support our caseload in the hospital environment as we know the difference this makes 🤗 Our support has continued in the early postnatal period as this lovely couple settle in to becoming a family of 3 ⭐️ And this little guy will soon be running all the farm errands and getting to know all his new friends around him 🐷🐓🐄 #BirthIsAmazingWhereverItHappens #SurreyHillsTeam #safecare #options #primip #firstimemama #lionkingmoment #showhimtheworld

A little catch up from one of our ‘goodbyes’ last week. We were delighted to support this Incredible First time Mama as she welcomed her Gorgeous little boy eaethside in the #pool at #home 💙 It was what we call a ‘handover baby’ so three lovely midwives from our team were present to join in with the joy of a new family 🤗🤗🤗 With Amazing additional support from Grandma throughout the labour and the gift of this handmade Octopus as a little friend for her grandson 🐙💙 We love the joy of case loading #HomeBirthJustHappened #SurreyHillsHomebirthTeam #waterbirth #namedmidwife #caselaoding #continuity #options #choice

Last week we were so privileged to support this Amazing First time Mama as she made the choices that felt right for her. Her Gorgeous little girl was calmly welcomed into her arms with the support of Claire from the Team and our lovely colleagues at Royal Surrey 💖 Our circle of care continues at home in the early postnatal period as they gently venture forward as a family of three.. The second birth in our little flurry. This Awesome Mama didn’t have quite enough time to get into the pool and welcomed her Gorgeous little boy into her arms in the comfort of her own #home. This Amazing Mama is heading #home to birth her baby with the Midwives, fully supported by her partner 🥰 #wise and #wonderful. Happy International Day of the Midwife – we love supporting all the wonderful families in our caseload – spread the word, share the Joy, talk about physiological birth.
