This incredible Mama kept herself relaxed and occupied during early labour by listening to her favourite playlist, snacking, keeping hydrated and completing this jigsaw puzzle. Once that all important final pice of sky was placed, labour progressed perfectly and this Mama breathed her baby girl into this world, calmly in the pool at home supported by the team. We left this family snuggled on the sofa, skin-skin, getting to know their daughter for a few hours until big brother returned to meet his new little friend.
In the early hours of this morning, we were privileged to support this amazing first time mama as she welcomed her gorgeous little body into her arms at home with calming sounds of rain fall in the background. These sensory cards were made by Mama to help keep her focussed during labour and to hope that this little one will grow up loving the same football team as his daddy. Extra support from Nana helped keep mum and dad calm, made even more special by making that fantastic post birth tea and toast.
