Early evening last week, we supported this Amazing, calm Mama as she welcomed her Gorgeous little girl into her arms, in the #pool at #home 💖 Big brother had just gone upstairs for his evening routine of bath time and stories while Mama was labouring and this little one arrived just as he’d just gone to sleep with his favourite, very loved bunny 🐰And the best surprise for the morning 💖💙

So grateful to this lovely family for sharing their beautiful birth with our current student midwife- her first home birth. Their placement with our team is such a valuable time to consolidate their learning of physiological birth, the importance of the old midwife adage of ‘sitting on your hands’ and protecting yeh birth space 🤗 #HomeBirthJustHappened #SurreyHillsHomeBirthTeam # birthplaceoptions #waterbirth #choice
