Icing on the cake
One of the amazing things about continuity is that it enhances the professional relationship with an extra layer of understanding, friendship and trust.
All of the births we are privileged to attend are special but for Kirsty supporting her friend, former student cohort member and our colleague, throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period has been “the icing on the cake”.

Flu the nest
Last week we said goodbye to this lovely family as they embarked on the next step of their Journey as a family of five.
It was a pleasure to support them through the twists and turns of pregnancy, birth and flu with the help of our wonderful multidisciplinary colleagues at the Royal Surrey.

The forums, held throughout the catchment, are a fantastic opportunity to meet the team and local home birthing families. They provide a relaxed, informal setting in which to explore your birth place choices and share #PositiveBirth experiences.
All of our forums are held 09:30-11:30 as drop in sessions, so there’s no need to book and you can say for as long as suits you. Partners and children welcomed.
Other dates and venues scheduled, see our Forums page for details
